For anyone looking to visit Washington State, knowing which airports are available to you makes planning your itinerary easier. While there are over 140 public airports in Washington, there are only 12 that operate commercial passenger flights.
While most travelers will fly into Sea-Tac Airport, the largest Washington airport, there are several smaller regional airports in Washington State that have regularly scheduled service, competitive pricing, and eliminate rental cars and drive time.
If you’re not sure which airport in Washington State is best for you, this guide will help you familiarize yourself with which airports connect to which city and what airlines operate at each airport. You’ll find that Washington State easily connects to destinations across the United States and is an important factor of why it’s a cornerstone for travel in the Pacific Northwest.
